Which Foundation are you Building your Life on?

 

Tests come from God to prove the believer and Temptation is the tool Satan uses to snare believers to sin. Every believer will endure these sometimes together or singularly.

 

Many people likewise many Christians, are building their lives on unstable foundations such as materialism, ambition, sport, education, philosophies, traditions of men, man's wisdom and so on. However, the only stable bedrock foundation is the LORD JESUS CHRIST, who is the LIVING WORD (THE TRUTH).

 

A foundation is a substance on which you build a structure. The foundation actually sports the building. In fact, each part of the building depends on the foundation. If it has good, deep, sure foundations, the building will stand, no matter what comes against it. If not when the trouble occurs the building will fall.

As disciples or lives are spiritual structures. In the Bible the believer's body is called 'a temple of the HOLY SPIRIT' 1 Corinthians 6.19, GOD'S TEMPLE 1 Corinthians 3.16, GOD'S BUILDING 1 Corinthians 3.9, and SPIRITUAL HOUSE 1 Peter 2.5. This also can only be built up strong, tall and able to resist trouble if the foundations are properly laid.

 

LORD JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONLY FOUNDATION:
1 Corinthians 3:11  For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is JESUS CHRIST. 12. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13. Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
